I'll just get my relays up to wormhole, and then scan up to tier one of top level. My scan sprees just suck atm. Also, I have all the non medal silver badge gear. I don't install the usually for space reasons. And Excavator is exactly what I'm planing. It's a nice duo- both research and artifact higher... I'm thinking to do the 2000 deck thing, to have all really needed modules on at one time.... And I'm saving my Gaia seeds for until I am Tlatherian for 17x and 22x planets.
