however.. i dont think you will have your gemini cannons by rank 300
the mission chain takes quite a bit of energy plus you have to NPC to find the the drops needed to complete part of it
that alone takes a long time

bring this post back from the dead once you finally get all 3 so we can see what rank

Took me about 250k energy npcing to get the drones that does include the E for the chain i know people have done it in less and i know people have taken alot more it's all down to luck but not sure you'll be lucky enough to get them all by the time you hit 300 we'll good to see your final rank when you get all 3.

I'll be sure to ressurect this thread once I get those cannons. I spent about 5k energy on NPCing once I unlocked Controlling the Silthion before finding the hybrid larva.

What is the chance of a hybrid drone spawning once the mission is active? I'd love it if I could know, though I killed less than 500 and got the NPC which spawns in 3000-5000.

Well your already luckier than me the drone took me 15k npc kills

I think the drones themselves where about 11k npc kills over the course of a few days.

Delightful... I can't kill that fast, unfortunately... Though I will need significantly less scanning power to find these drones so maybe I can put some more battle-oriented modules in.

If you really wanted your cannons by 300, you could just freeze rank and check your npc tab whenever it refreshes. Might take you a while though.. lol

there is missions to do before you can even get to unlocking the gemini mission where you see the larva
even when you are actively hunting for them they are not so easy to find

Silthion Hybrids mission is a total of 234k XP which would run a rank 277 up to 297ish. Not realistic to get enough drones for even 1 Gemini in only 3 ranks.

dont remeber who but it was around rank 310ish, they had 1.... and i hated them for it.

It may have been me. I found both Caelon and the Hybrid Larvae as early as humanly possible. I was rocking a full set of assemblybots/gemini cannons by 375. That said, I can't remember specifically if I had a full gemini cannon before level 300, but it's very, very probable.

Okay, maybe not quite by rank 300.

I suppose that's true. xD I've been striving for these since before I found the larva though. Just decided to do the silthion chain, find the larva, then do the hidden chain. Luckily I found the larva really quickly which frustrated a legion-mate of mine. xD He said he's killed more NPCs to find the Hybrid Larva than I've killed in total and he still hasn't got it.
