i find myself flooded by these, and though their artifacts were useful at first, as i do not have a CT-Lab i cannot use them effectively. what is the level these stop appearing? they have become a nuisance for me, and a waste of my energy when npc hunting

I get flooded with 8 iso runners before my purge timer is up now, although they have an end, that's the new flamehawk for me lol. Over 25k defenses, and less XP than a flamehawk. I guess you can say reward is ok, but I want that done soon. Huge energy sink.

Guys, he is referring to the Rank 160 Crimson Hawk, not the Flamehawk...
I'm rank 375 and still have them so somewhere beyond that apparently...

Haha, I used to LOVE the original one -- it was easy enough to kill. Don't complain until you see the flamehawks; by then your NPC selection will be VERY small and monotonous.

See my first flamehawk at level 351, the 2nd, the 3rd, .... and the 6th too and still rising.
Crimson hawks are teletubbies compare to flamehawk

Crimson Hawks = 4 shots
Crimson Flamehawks = 12-15(or so) shots
I much prefer the former of the two.
BTW I'm rank 393 atm and still see the Hawks

fyi - flamehawks drop amps now (confirmed twice) like the overlord, possibly foci (haven't confirmed that).

Normal. rank 160, hawks stop spawning at rank 400. By that time, however, you'll love them.

Obelisk, nothing, or less common amps. Have not seen a foci drop that was a theory.
