we have a few high level players on here so i would like to ask them for their views.
a legionmate of mine (lvl 71) had a v large abundant research gas planet invaded by a guy at lvl 265 (co leader of a legion too)
i can understand wanting easy badges...not a problem
but he has put 4 regional shields and 2 disruption minefields on it to prevent it being taken back.
he cant possibly want that planet so badly can he?...not at his rank surely?
he left himself enough space for 3 quantum computer grids...the research he is pulling in cant be worth keeping this planet?

did you say a rank 265 was still using level 6 structures?

Well, sarge, maybe that was the most efficient use of space and he's got better tech.

But back on topic... I'm at that level right now and I don't have a problem taking a planet from a 70s player. Although it would have to be way better than VL abundant for me to even look at it. And to brick it that way is just ridiculous. That is unless it was captured in the course of a war...

afaik the planet just was taken...no hint of a problem with the legion that took it...weird

Take a planet like this, get a badge. It is good enough that the other person (at their level) will probably take it back.

You've gotten a badge, they got a badge, they have the planet, things all is good.

and still using disruption minefields and regional shields?0o

unless those were the structures left by my comrade...dont think he us that far advanced yet though

im a rank 150 using +8's and mass shields/antimatter mines so LoL O_o

if i took it it would only have production buildings on it. those kinds of planets are useless if you need to defend em.
