I want my geminis and I want them now.

With that in mind, what is the minimum E required to auto-rank the chain (with Neural and RSL) at rank 626?

Much obliged to anyone who can answer this :D

The chain is not the problem....finding the larva is the problem. I finished the chain weeks ago and have been on the hunt for the larva ever since. But to answer your question.....it's going to require ~63k energy to complete both submissions. Id guess maybe around 8k energy would allow you to autorank the chains?

I lucked out and found the larva the other day, so I just need to do the second part of the chain. I max out at around 8.7K energy so want to check if it is worth trying

Direct from the wiki

"To auto-rank from a mission, use the folowing formula:
Energy required to autorank from a mission = (40R + 20)/([Exp ratio of mission] x 1.265)

1.265 = Neural Interface (1.15x) * RSL Memory Implant (1.1x)

Where R = current rank, (40R + 20) being the experience requirement of that rank. Thanks to JohnMcAuley for this great formula. "

So, (40 x 626 +20)/(2.16 x 1.265) = 25060/2.7234 = 9201.7 energy required

Need a few more engineers :D

It would be more around 9300 or 9400 and that's IF you only add engineers when you rank.

I'll point out you don't have to use 100% of your energy on the mission, either. You can NPC (assuming a better XP ratio than the mission) until you get your XP-to-rank low enough that your remaining energy will cover it with the mission.

I think this may be the best way to do it, wouldn't take too much NPCing either...
