Is it really worth it? I acquired a massive 17x arti crystal today with enslaved prisoners on it. Is 7 green badges worth 1 artifact 2 mining and 40% attack?

Depends. What are you going to use the badges for otherwise?

Well the only thing I really need at this point is the second atmospheric decimator upgrade but that can wait no rush on that.

In my opinion increased invasion attack is worth far more that a bit more mining. To each their own though.

Definitely the invasion attack upgrade. After that it is either assimilation locus (meh) or the arti structure (my personal choice).

It's only a size 1 arti one strut and for a massive planet there are already plenty of arties that can be used.

+20% attack is nice. +40%, even better.
