I'm going to abandon about 20 of my bad planets.

I have too many planet slots open.
I can fix this if my Scans don't suck. (Massive Very Rich is the best not-bricked invade I have available)

I've gained over 21k strength in the last 11 months, I'm lazy when it comes to pvping, about 2 years 4 months since reset (noob for 1 year 5 months).

I feel like I'm leaving out all the fun with these notes

And oh yeah I forgot some stuff:

Research: All but base research done.

Missions: Almost finished with talth, but has been slowed down from doing 3 dailies at once.
Going for gemini cannons next.

Unlocked races: Zolazin, Genetarr, Lazuli.

Anybody have some tips on how to scan better planets?

its looking gravy so far, im not you rank so i dont know where you could improve

at rank 630 I had 25k arti per hour- more arti- repeated dozens of times

I had slightly higher defence and significantly higher attack- about 7k more- i suspect that was mostly tac officers from more arti for longer

I had a bit more mining and more research. don't fix the researh issue- it isn't a problem that more arti wont fix. npc more to get toxic purifiers for mining and terraformers for arti planets. I have not kept records of my npc kill levels but i am confident i was significantly higher than you at this point

abandoning bad planets a good plan- but fill your slots first. As my arti went up i got more artis to get rid of dud planets and then scanned more often. more arti will fix most of your scanning issues. If you can afford to switch race occaisonally save up several hundred artis to get rid of planets and switch to explorer when you scan run. Good planets often have cloak on them and unless you can break it you will never find them. also the higher attack helps you take them.

Get into a good legion. not sure who you are with now so this may be redundant advice. My first legion was because i knew nothing- my next two have both helped me immensely (shout out to the guys at The New Order- have very fond memories)

Keep on trucking. your ship is set up ok to do well. drive arti higher and all other problems become soluble

Oh, and remeber how important more arti is. Even a small mega rich + with no defence will give you some production. can always abandon it later
