Just a quick one, been reading on the wiki about the missions "Vorean Extinction" and "Galakis, City of Deals" and both have a chance to fail, "Vorean" for using Engineered Viruses, and "Galakis" for invading a planet.

But does the chance of automatic failure only apply to you while you do the specific task where the failure notice is (So task 2 on "Vorean", and task 1 on "Galakis"), or does it apply to you no matter what task you do?

And, if for example my legion had "Galakis" active but I hadn't joined a task, could i invade a planet and then choose to join any task without tripping the failure condition?

The failure only applies to the specific task.

If you've not yet joined a task, then you are not considered as being "active" within that legion mission, so you are safe.

If you join a legion task, that has a failure risk, as soon as you have fully completed that task, then you can no longer fail the task, even if you commit the failure conditions.

Kirk forgot about leaving the legion, that will automatically fail any task you are doing.

Other than that he is correct.

Are you sure about that? I think we've had a case of engineered virus fail with a full completion here, but not 100% certain.

Yes 100% certain. I did the galakis one (no invasions) finished the task completely and invaded a planet moments later.

Those assigned to mark routes must refrain from invading any enemy colonies until the mission has ended.

In this case then it should be changed to 'until the TASK has ended/completed'

For comparation to the Galakis one :

The team assigned to this task must remain sterile, and cannot use any engineered viruses until the mission is complete.

There is one (that I know of) possible fail- Assault on Crimson Deep, 2nd task will auto-fail if started before at least 50 sniper drones (task one) are disabled.

There are a few players at a allies legion who has done this and failed..

This is irrelevant, since the issue is : You complete the task, and if you've done the forbidden action, whether it will fail the mission, or not

Currently known 3 failure threats are on Vorean, Galakis, and Assault, but only Vorean and Galakis are relevant to this issue

And quick question : if you've completed the task and leave the legion, you will still fail, right?

You get the reward for completion, but yes you fail.

And won't get the badges if the mission is successful ?
