just looking for a general idea. Obviously if you are on a scan blitz, you'd want 5 continuum analyzers, but that wouldn't do you much good for normal everyday flying

Here's what I've come up with. Not accounting for any GP modules, rank required to obtain the module, or medal point upgrades.
Weapons: 1410 attack from modules
Dominion Cannon Mark III x 4 (68 deck space) Korteth Twin-Blaster x 2 (56 deck space) Ion Pulse Ballistae x 4 (40 deck space) Exotic Pulser x 3 (15 deck space)
Defense: 1255 def from modules
Silthion Hybrid Utricle x 4 (104 deck space) Chron-Pulse Drive (0 deck space) Subspace Compressor (0 deck space) Thrust Stabilizer (0 deck space)
Hull: 2112 hull from modules
Dark Assembly Bot x 3 (30 deck space) Kalvium Plating x 2 (40 deck space) Korteth Plating x 2 (20 deck space) Protean Armory x 3 (24 deck space)
Shield: 55 shield from modules
All mission completion rewarded modules (0 deck space)
Energy: 280 energy, recharge rate of ~64/hr (correct my math) from modules
Encephalon Core x 4 (48 deck space) *Hyperchannel Relay x 4 (20 deck space) Mission completion rewarded modules (0 deck space)
*Note: Must have 601 energy minimum to use the relays
Devices: 50 Scan to see majority of NPCs (not sure exactly what the scan numbers should be, but I know we all want Troop Carriers)
Stryll Hunt Sensor x 1 (10 deck space)
This setup would leave 5 decks remaining. So what do you guys think? Comments/suggestions or anything you would change are welcome.

im not sure i understand is the point of this thread to have a build that only utilizes 480 decks? or if we only had 480 decks what would we put on?

Your question sounds like the same thing to me, but for clarification, the intent is to build a ship but only have 480 decks to use. What would you put on your ship?

If you had 480 decks I wouldn't worry too much about the utricles, which could give you room for Stacked Attiroth Plating and Aegis Capacitors.
EDIT: And the Dark Assembly Bots probably aren't necessary, the upkeep will be pretty low.

I think it would depend what you were planning to do with your ship i.e. you would have a different build for missions to NPC's
A set up I would likely run would be (using my own crew etc for this):
Attack: Dominion Cannon Mark III x 4 (68 deck space) Ion Pulse Ballistae x 4 (40 deck space)
Defence: Velox Thruster x3 (90 deck space)
Hull: Perfect Syncopated Plating x2 (86 deck space) Dark Assembly Bot x 3 (30 deck space) Kalvium Plating x 2 (40 deck space) Korteth Plating x 2 (20 deck space) Protean Armory x 3 (24 deck space)
Energy: Hyperchannel Relay x 4 (20 deck space) F.A.T.H.E.R x2 (10 deck space) Silthion T-Plasma Hub x3 (15 deck space)
Devices: Continuum Parsar x2 (60 deck space)
This build would leave me with 4 decks spare and give me: 4764 Attack 1685 Defence 9976 Hull 3235 Energy (2755 with relays on) 160 Scan 160 Cloak
This is using my crew currently - so the numbers would be different for your own ship.

If I had 480 decks, I would build this with an extra 11 Decks.

I like these builds. I knew I could count on the more veteran ships out there for some insightful input. At what rank do you imagine your build would be completed? The nightclaw fighter I'm assuming would be the most rank inducing module to get. At rank 121 I cannot see many of the necessary NPCs. I can however get the CTL artis, GP modules, battle market artis, and the relays. Just curious at what rank will I be able to focus my efforts and on what specific modules do I focus on?

using my build your probably looking at rank 300 due to the zebreen cannon, honestly dont remember at what rank you can see the alerts for that one
