2 questions about NPC's and AP

1. If you use any artifact like Drannik Saboteur, Dark Void Foci, EMP Sphere or Disarming Bomb on a NPC you want to disabled do they affect the drop?
-or the drop is random?
2. If you choose to get your artifacts manually, will you get more good artifacts like Rescued Prisoners, Ship Bots, Repair Nanodrones and anothers?; than if you choose to get All the artifacts same time?

No to both of the questions, however if you manually pull artifacts you can stop after the minimum points required for your required artifact (example: stop at 3998 points, because prisoners need 4k points to be pulled).
