I've been trying to get "Firewall? What Firewall?" medal for a while now and I can't seem to do it. I have only seen one or two ships with those medals and I assume you have to have quite a significant amount of scanning power. I have around 3000 scan and that's with only one module plus I am a hacker. Does anyone have any good tips on getting that medal? I would appreciate it, thanks in advance.

(Btw, this is my first post so tell me if I am doing anything incorrectly)

you have to get hit with a qft. pop a pyramid. use a bunch of arts till you can hack. hack away.

easiest way is on an alert with a ton of actions.
set of their qft then 0 them.

People with no research and a lot of actions tend to be pretty agreeable if you ask the beforehand. Even with 75+ hacks under a QFT I haven't gotten it though.

Just ask someone who's online (hit them with a resource probe) if they mind if you go for the Firewall Medal, and pledge to give them the name of and purge whatever you get no matter how good it is. Or if you're feeling risky, you can ignore asking the and spam as many TMs as possible on someone with no RP after hitting their QFT. If you get the crit hack or they reset the QFT they may alert you, or at least hit you back, due to hacking the twice in quick succession.

Piss of a legion get zero'd by the highest rank, alert them when they have a bunch of actions and have your legions mates spam them with flares and a clouders and go to town while they are offline and get a nice chunk of research while you are at it.

Ye I have been trying for this too. I usully find someone with lots of actions and apologise after. Most are pretty agreeable. Pissed off a few people though and I still don't have the medal!

Or go the easy route and target the kills leaderboard, most of them tend to have tons of actions lying around, plus if they hit you back they are more likly to try for a raid or 10 so theres even more.

WOW! Thanks guys. I finally got that medal. There was this raider guy with 60+ actions with no cloak or scan whatsoever.
