First thing after resetting is to research shields and +12's asap so you can get your planets back asap. Thus my suggestion is a high RP orientated legion to help you out with that. This assuming you have enough credits saved before resetting.

Fluffy and others have mentioned it already, but I would go cloak and +12's. It has been well established that hiding the planet is better than defending it if you are trying to max production.

Haven't reset yet.

I find it difficult to get dark badges at lower ranks plus interspacial folds for the new planets you will take.

Ok, I feel I should actually weigh in here.

  • The ONLY class you should go would be Konqul Excavator.
  • DO NOT FREEZE RANK AT SUCH A PATHETIC LEVEL
  • Now heres where things will differ slightly
    • If you have good arti planets then it wont make much difference whether you need an AP or RP base
    • If you have good res planets then an AP base would be best
  • Go SSB until around 70-100 then use your stock piled ship bots
  • Only spend rank points in Tactical Officers and Engineers
  • Research upto +12's and CT Lab asap
  • Keep your energy at a level that it will just max out in the time your offline

The piont of Freezing at that lvl is for PVP purposes ONLY. The idea is to build you ship up to be like a mini TheBlackPearl when you begin to level. Just a idea for those who wish to break the undefeated lvl streak and what not. I actually have a person testing this theory out in a Legion that gives CRAPPY ap from base drops instead of a prefered hvy AP but not everyone will have access to this so i figure its the best trial run.

Let me know how that goes. How long has he been doing it? Did he reset or new? How much AP is he getting?

I know a few of the "high ranks" are tempted to reset but are unsure because some have spent quite a lot of $$ on their current ship.

4 days so far, atm im unsure of her AP prodcution and it was a reset.

Also i would Recomend if they(as in high ranks) want to reset, reset in a legion with atleast a lvl 6 base with AP production only, and then get RP planets first that way they can get more RP done before they make the switch over to just RP. If my theory is correct you can have a ship as powerfull as a rank 1k at rank 1 with enough patience.
