The Radiant Weapons Locker was discontinued today. I understand it is available to purchase. Is it also taking over the 5,000 artifact spot on the common artifact list or should that line just be removed from the wiki?

Additionally, asked elsewhere without an answer, can you get the weather controller from artifact shipments? If so, what is the cost in artifact points so it can be added.

Both items are available only on the artifact market.

What are the stats on the radiant surge cannon?

Nothing in the wiki that I could find.

1. Never realized that the radiant weapons locker was removed from the drop set. I'm certain it was part of the ones you could receive in shipments before because I received one that way and hung on to it for ages until I finally used it.

2. I just bought a radiant surge today as I am now rank 200. I have to say. I'm highly underwhelmed it's a hair better than my current weapons, and I could retrofit my ship to be better by doing the research for the next level in three days.

Do NOT but the radiant surge weapon until you are of massive rank, I'd say probably 400 or more, or out of other options to add more atk power.


here is the real deal:

I am rank 200, and I DID NOT put much effort into my weapons research so I only have heavy singularity launchers. 207 atk 39 decks (5.3 atk per 1 deck)

However the Radiant Surge weapon I received is barely worth using, it is a Radiant Surge III weapon, and it has the stats of 100 atk 17 size. (5.88 atk per 1 deck) phpht. This is NOT an uber weapon for a rank 200 player! It's only about as good as a Heavy Antiproton cannon (250 atk, 43 decks) which I could research and completely upgrade my ship to in less than 3 more days, and I'm not even a player who has max planets!

the next weapon, the light nullray completely out-dates them as it's ratio is 6.08 atk per 1 deck.. I have to imagine I can get to this in a week, possibly two.

Meanwhile I won't be at rank 300 for a far far longer time, considering that I started playing several months ago, and I have worked hard at leveling up, and yet, I'm only at rank 200. there for it will be months before I can buy a radiant surge and see a better outcome (whatever that may be.)

I wish I could get my GPs back =(

Thanks for the heads up. According to what you say then, it's probably only realy good for players of very high levels that can afford the extra deck space to instal them and already have maxed out weapons. Once you get a to a certian point, any weapon that you can put on your ship beyond the 8 limit is a bonus no matter what stats it has.

This is the information I've been waiting for. Thank you for taking one for the team so we can all have that information. At rank 140, with light anti-protons, Im no longer 'guessing' that the mark II isn't worth my GPs. (atleast for now, as people indicate)

Thanks for the info Qcubed, I'll definetly mark those off my list, I'm using better at lvl 200, rather disappointing.

I updated the wiki yesterday with the stats of the Mark II. 12 space for 60 attack, that's 5 attack per space.

And yeah I checked here and the wiki first to see if anyone else already posted the info too. But no luck so I took a chance and bit the bullet.




Thanks for adding that I added that radiant weapons section to the weapon page with the info from my Mark III and explanation of how it worked etc. once I posted here with my dissatisfaction.

Looks like the weapon is only good for the Very low rank and the very high rank.. I'm literally in the 'sweet spot' for it to be useless ^^



We should really wait for 1 more data point before determining a trend, but with two we can guess:

L1 ?
L2 60 atk 12 deck (5.0 a/d)
L3 100 atk 17 deck (5.88 a/d)
L4 ?

Possible values for L1 and L4 based off the limited info we know:

L1 20 atk 7 deck (2.85 a/d)
L4 140 atk 22 deck (6.36 a/d)

or

L1 30 atk 7 deck (4.29 a/d)
L4 149 atk 22 deck (6.72 a/d)

of course the numbers could still be wildly different, anyone else but one at a level other than Mark 2 and Mark 3?

Well lvl. 5 gives you 200 attack and takes 24 deck space. It also cost 12.5M a day.

That works out to 8.3 dmg/ton.

im surge is size 9 attack 40, i got it when i was rank 40
