1. You need more hull.(You can remove the phase shift engine and Decryption Quad-Frames and put hulls instead(and go for hull research)).Dont go for defense until you have 5 hulls + protean armories installed.
2. You are a bit behind in weapons research.. so go for that after hull.
3. I dont know whats your current legion but I think it doesnt produce enough research (Check for legions on the forum. I think that there are many searching for active players at the moment. Search for at least level 4 base.)
4. After that depending on your game style you can go for more weapons and shield research up to Planetary shields, so you can protect your planets better.

OMG seriously, no energy research?? you need to start putting everything into energy until you get to about plasma relays at least unless you puposefully want to be a low ranker at which point you need to start researching energy unless you need it

i know this has nothing to do with stats, but drop raider it's a useless profession.

I do have 3 Glaviz devices and 2 spheres, I've been considering a change in race/profession and I think I can afford to change for fun once or twice.

Epicownage, I think you missed it, I am up to positron relays. I'm trying to pace my ranking. Not tooo slow, but definitely not fast either.

Pwnbus, thank you for your advice. When I red badge, I like to get my scan up to just below 100. There I find many easy targets to pray on allowing me to use my energy efficiently in badging efforts.

My legion is getting really close to a lvl 4 base. I've been working hard to help us acquire the ctp needed for it. I know I could find a better legion as far as research bonuses are concerned, but I really like my legion and am enjoying helping it grow. This does put be at a disadvantage, but I'd rather not change legions at this point. I will definitely work in weapons research in the near future.

Can you tell us if you want to be a PvP orientated ship or not?

I want PvP at least until I get my mk III dominions. I have enough red badges for one already.

I'm not against pvp in general, but I think once I've got enough red badges I will be more inclined to focus on missions, npcs and bases. Basically, I guess I really just want to do it all.

After the mkIII's, PvP becomes mostly pointless (except for revenge-hits)

Not entirely Bluecifer. Red badges also = base fights. Silvers can get you some shiny gear.

its called slow ranking, the end product is a REALLY strong ship, lol...but yeah, hull and weapons.

Huh. Player Kills 1719. Just a wee bit more than it takes for the Mk3s. Why do I PvP? Fun. What is the purpose of this game? Fun...

Do I find missions interesting? No.
Are they a necessary evil? Yes.
Do I find NPCs interesting? Yeah, kinda.
Are they better than PvP gameplay wise? No.
Are they better than PvP for loots etc.? Yes.

You really should research energy though. 1 big cores is better than 3 small ones. You will reach a point where 105 energy wont cut it (I started getting energy about 70 I think), and you just won't be making any progress. Ranking once a week is the slowest you need to go.
