...anyone know about this artifact....do certain planets (or sizes) give better results.....do you get a Drannik Colony colony under your control....any help on the subject will be appreciated....

wiki just gave the info on what planets not to use.....didnt state the benefits...

The Drannik Colony Ship simply acts a 'free' planet colonization, not affected by your current rank limit on planet colonies. Story-wise, the Drannik do occupy the planet (as per the mission chain), but there is no viewable difference in the planet due to this. Enjoy the rest of the chain

Nope, it gave you all the info you need to know. There is no benefit other than those states on the wiki.
