This is a simple idea. While yes I will be spending most of my LPs gained from levels and other sources on decks. I will also be spending either any spare points or those gained from one particular source on crews.

Given that crews are a little better now given the new combat system I have been braining storming the best way to it and get a bigger bang for my buck. So I am likely to set myself a rules set to work this idea. It means getting modules even slower but I am still growing.

So lets say this will be my rules set for this idea:

LP gained from levels used to grow decks (left overs after putting in a target modules go to crews)
LP gained from Rescued Prisoners goes to crew or to help finish getting a module on my ship.
LP gained from the daily reward goes to crew.
LP gained from any other places would get places based on the moment.


Do not know if this would be a like or smart idea. But it would mean my deck size is smaller compared to many and I have some hidden bonuses in my stats that make it harder to predict what I can do when I am in PvP.

I was considering doing the exact same thing. Decks and Holds with Rank points and crew with artis daily rewards etc. Although the reason I want crew isn't so much about the "hidden" stats just simply more crew help keep you from being raided and increase your chances of sucsessfull raiding.

As far as your deck size being smaller compared to hidden stats....Those hidden stats will never, ever, ever compare to decks. If this is your basic reasoning to get crew then I highly advise against it. The only reason to purchase crew is to boost raiding ability/defense.

I tried to make the rule set lose enough that I can really do what ever prety much.

The two biggest places to get rank points (levels and artifacts) do have a high chance to be only decks. But I am also using to push me over to a goal # on attack and def. Plus ill be pumping some more in then at my current rank once I max out energy (going to be a bit).

Ive been doing something along those lines since i started 4 points to decks one to crew every level

He is talking about having more defense or attack than what may show up if your opponent can see what modules you have installed. No one can see how much crew you have.

They can see if they use spy probes, as probes tell the user how much of that stat they have.
