Full set of Cannons at high enough research will break your bank.. but like i said earlier.. mineral gathering does not need to be high..

I spent about 1.5 billion credits on my last scan blitz. I wouldn't be too worried about excess credits. Just colonize more research and artifact planets. Eventually, your costs will catch up with your income, and you will be glad you have the cushion and don't have to worry about it too quickly.

I am still saving for my 1.5 billion scan blitz . The X-Manifold Detector - Mark III can be expensive.

once you hit level 100 with 600+ minerals an hour, you will get roughly 500mil+ a day. i think the other big jump in dysillion/dietierion/kurenite was 85 if i remember correctly.

If you are not going really hardcore into specific tech trees and splashing my tech like me, you dont need more than 500+ minerals an hour once you get around 85-100 imo. im sitting on 5.5 billion right now(1.5 billion for scan next week, and you vendor the sensors for 750 mil i believe) so you get some back. money is somewhat useless now unless i choose to go for my next scanner...which will take me a month or so of all research points...so im not looking forward to it.
