Newsflash ! Besides the Base Research tree, most of the people that play for a year or more now are done with the research for quite a while.
Failing to see the point doesn't necessarily mean that there is not point. You just fail at seeing it. Matter of perspective , more or less.

Dan, in your humongous magnificence, would you care to look upon us mere insignificant mortals and clarify what the limit is. How many points, out of the 5 awarded at rank up, would you see as OK to be put into engineers ? Also, you will "fix" the rarity today or tomorrow given the fact that less than a week implies it, right ? :mrgreen:

and some more, of topic.
i really like NPCing... but i hate that i rank up very fast with it... for me its near to auto ranking... i really would like some arty which is -20% xp gain or something like that...
i think lots of ppl will disagree with me in that point but i think for some ppl it will be useful...

Nope, actually i 100% AGREE with you. I love NPC'ing but the very fact that it causes me to rank so fast is really off putting. I'd like to have the chance to keep getting gas igniter rods/eruption channelers and miriad of other NPC dropped modules and artifacts for as long as possible without having to resort to only hitting alerted NPC's.



Also i'd love to see the upper limit for all NPC's removed, if this means that a rank 2000 can still see akkiren drannik hub then so be it.

I personally never understood why Elites have rank limits, as they serve no purpose whatsoever. So what if a rank 1750 can see an akkiren, its not like he'd be able to one shot the thing as it has a damage cap, and since most people within the actual rank range of the akkiren can eventually hit that cap i don't see a reason why their is a rank limit.

I have to agree with you here. As a higher level, these things give modules that give much better CTP than anything I see.

At times it is like you are punished for being high level.

Believe it or not I rushed to 600 from 580 or so to get rid of Okkilor's, Refineries and whatever else disappeared at 601. I wouldn't like Dark Rings all over my BT again. If you mean removing the rank cap from the the NPC's that don't have a higher ranked "equivalent" (i.e. Silthion Queens, Fabrication Plants etc.) then I'll say that would make perfect sense.

Would also love to see an equivalent for the "Sha'din Ambusher" for us higher rank. Matched if possible.

But now you have no way to add 1050/1000 passive attack to future demon/plasma worlds. Obviously you can still get the passive drops from the Fab Plant, but the more passive bonuses the better imo.

I plan on transforming most if not all of my volcanic/gas planets, so i plan to stock up on eruptors/igniters so that i have a tonne of them for when they disappear.

I love seeing Dark Ring's appear, simply because they can drop smugglers cache. Any NPC that drops that is a keeper for me.

As for Okkillor's, well the traps are nice and the module is a nice form of CTP, which at higher ranks are more difficult to come by unless of course your purchase CTP.

I don't want more research if that implies getting more planets, I don't need demon worlds since they are useless compared to toxics/irradiated and there are Dark Nexuses at higher rank that drop smuggler caches.

Dont see why i cant auto rank if i want..i can scan a lot of planets purge them for more. npc to make better planets .. but end of day I cant brake the atk/def on the beast ones. And my best ones will be farmed by TOP ppl. only to have me make more planets for them to take. in pvp i will have to shoot them a lot more then they can shoot me. I dont see a prob with it DAN if any thing altering it will only wreck it ofr ppl. i mean relay i have 50k nrg sooo a lil some one with have 50k atk,so can we out a capt on attack to? i see a prob in dieing in 3 hits to some one. Well i dont but then again i dont see a prob in auto ranking.
