Hi there experts!

Please could someone explain when i should start my first ever scan for a planet?

at the beginning?
after lvl 20?
after a certain module lvl is met?

BEFORE you need more planets (or atleast more good planets), though I would wait untill you get some scanners that have been researched instead of default ones. there like 5 times better.

You gotta start early when you have a sure thing, example I scan at 1570 I use subspace seeker and tachyon cylinder and purge 5 planets from database, after 540 energy I have found 3 planets (garbage) When I was a level 9 or 10 I scanned and received an Exotic a Dyson Sphere, and three terrans...you decide, Strike while the Iron is hot, I have 209 planets and have purged 15 or so from database, and am unable to even scan lol Youngins ahh to be young and able to find anything worth a darn.

Oh my god. I'm level 60 and I haven't found anything better than an Oceanic planet! How the hell did you get Exotics and Dysons at such a low rank?!

its all about luck.. if you dont find a great planet, you're gimped compared to those that gets those insanely great planets, you will always fall behind unless you get equally good planets

and this is why I pray the the RNG goddess every day.

I dont even care anymore, when i get level up on the every 4th level, i do a few scans and pic the best one if i find any in the rich-scale. Very rich is probably the best rating i have on one or several parts on a planet.
