I've seen the [your attack/3]/[planetary defenses] thing. But where does an Invasion Bonus add in? If you have a weapon that provides a +30 bonus for example, does it add in before you divide by 3, or after you've divided by three... ? In other words, is the numerator: [ship att + ship invasion bonus]/3 or [ship att]/3 + ship invasion bonus ? |

I believe it's beforehand, as it counts as attack at that point. |

advertisers on this site? wow this is a first. Anywho, where are you getting the divided by 3 thing with your attack? According to your equation above, only 1/3 of your attack is counting towards the invade vs the planet defense. |

as its specifically for invasion i would expect its added, whole, after any rounding down of your regular invasion figure...otherwise whats the point of saying its just for invasion? |

It was published last week and verified by several people who failed, looked at their invasion chance, used the formula and got the invasion chance listed. |
