Ok... I have a question.....
How is it that I'm level 99, and my research can only go up to 14,850... I cannot get the anti-matter reactor... however when I scan other ships who are much lower levels.. they have higher technology than I do..... how can that be when it takes like 18,000 to get anti-matter??
am I missing something?

You can research them in installments, not in full. So 10k you can research it in 2k,2k,2k,2k,2k
