I think I’ve read somewhere on the form that these timed limited missions such as, Embattled Retreat will at some point become regular missions and I was wondering if that indeed was the case.

and if so, how does the system of completion and unique rewards work?

If I complete Embattled Retreat 10 times and get 10 Modified Grid-Pylon’s b4 the time runs out. What happens when it becomes a regular mission ?

It will come back, and it will have the same amount of completion as you left it, so if you complete it 10 times now, it will still have those completions done when it comes up again.

It will start exactly where you are left off.

you will need to finish any earlier missions in the chain fully, before doing the later missions though...even if you started them whilst timed

so if I have completed one of the missions in the chain during the limited event, I simply miss it out when it becomes a normal mission?

Yes, you finish any missions you didn't finish, and skip any missions you did finish.
