 Has anyone figured out what exactly the NFX-2 Virus Source does?

ya I was told that it is an ability that take the def. of an NPC down 10% for 4 hours with a 4 hour recharge on it.

Since that sounds like an acquired ability, does that mean it shares a timer with Tactical Algorithms?

Actually, I re-read the update, doesn't sound like they would share a timer.

Either way, it isn't worth the 105K energy it takes to complete the mission. You could put that into making planet purgers and get a lot more for the energy
