General Information



Scientists experimenting with robotic A.I. "companions" made an unfortunate error in the bots' affection algorithms, causing these "Q-Pedds" to rebel and flee in nearby science transport ships. The Q-Pedds took much of the related equipment with them. To those that may detect any roaming Q-Pedd ships: seizing back this equipment is of great importance.

During the Q-Pedd event, the following temporary effects apply to the entire Galaxy:
-Daily rewards for both minerals and research provide double the usual amount.
-Cybernetic (Vygoid, Zolazin) and robotic-proficient (Drannik) races receive a 10% boost to their racial bonus.
-'Q-Pedd Largesse' and 'Q-Pedd Informant' artifacts will now appear in standard artifact shipments.


Q-Pedd Largesse - Can only be used on a friend or legion member. Boosts hull by 5% for 1 hour.

Largress's are also upgraded to 8% for 1hr now. Not a new version just this year but all upgraded to 8% now.

So its an upgrade not a second Q-pedd Docking ?

No it is a second mod altogether. They are both now 2 in artifact. I had checked on my first one from last year and charges were not restored. Dan just must have upgraded them like he did to the largesse boosts.

Here's something cool: The new 0 space Q-pedd probes count toward the ctp bonus given from the chuhn scrap mods recycle ability. Legion mate had 62 planet structures on the planet and then added 2 of those probes and used the recycle ability. He got 64 ctp. Overall, extra 40 ctp if you have 2 on a planet and full charges on the scrapyard or depot.

No Q-Pedd this year ? I saw no medal point add yet

The increase was actually by 150. Part of that is def the 9 year. Last year was 140 and the year before 120, so I thought this year would have been 160. Maybe this year is 140 or 150.

FWIW, it hasn't visibly been added to the medals page. Maybe when Q-Pedds medals show up so will 9 year.
