Colonies and outposts that lie near the Lepus Cluster have once again reported sightings of strange Bio-Mechanical entities...

During the Lepus Cluster event, the following temporary effects apply to the entire Galaxy:
-While scanning for planets, you will sometimes discover a 'Lepus Bio-Nest' (or rarer 'Auric' version)
-Continuum Beacons provide an additional 1% boost to scanning, cost additional energy, but will no longer arrive in artifact shipments during the event.
-The 'Unique Lifeforms' planetary event bonus has tripled.

The Lepus Messenger

One of the Lepus drones we recently salvaged is different from the rest. It proceeded to open communications with us. As you know, the constructs are not sentient, so someone must have programmed it with the message. We need to find out more about this.

I got 2 standard and 2 Auric in a scan run of 450 planet

Scanned 450-475 planets or so I think. Got 4 regular and 1 auric bio-nest, but all of hte regular ones came in the last 150 planets (Auric came around #100).

So...crap scan rating may help in finding them? Or just the way the chances fell. Will experiment more

Wow what a sh1t drop rate

scanned about 425 planets last night, I got 2 auric and 1 regular. I believe the drop rate last year for a bio nest was around 1%

I am having this issue with 4 Lepus structures on the planet (all 4 are new ones from this year)
