I was scanning away at about 10%, down to 8% when I stopped, because I had an energy cube and used it without looking to see I was about to level. Since I didn't want to lose all that energy I just did some scans. Very nubby scans to be sure.

My question is, did that low % chance to find a planet result in mostly tiny and small planets? Or is it just bad luck? Most of the larger planets I scanned at above 50% are enemy already =/ I will get better scanners after I get the tier 2 artifact buildings. Though I did notice from level 2 to 3 you get 2 more points on a largeish planet due to size of building being bigger =/ Not bothering with that until after sensors.

A low scan % only means your chance of finding ANYTHING. What kind of planet and how big/good they are is purely random.
