Someone of high rank must have given them some. From what I understand, that is the only way for lower level players to have access to it.

Could just be a one in a million chance. At rank six I managed to get 1 Dieterion. It happens I guess.

It is impossible to get until rank 160. If you started playing the game after the introduction of aidonium, it will be visible on you minerals tab, but you won't receive it. If you started playing before it was introduced, it won't be visible until you get it at rank 160 or someone send you one. Even if someone send you one, you still cant receive it until 160.

if he got it, don't sell it, if he doesn't and keep it in the cargo he got a higher chance to get better minerals, like the time i gotten kurenite.

This isn't true and doesn't make sense. The only thing that determines what minerals you get is your rank. The higher your rank, the more likely you are to get a higher value mineral. Plain and simple.

Untrue, I recieved one from a legion member and was able to sell it for the 17 mil price at lvl 60ish.

But I have received that...It was the point that I was able to receive and sell it. Oh and I just got my first Aidonium that I mined myself, unfortunately I sold it so I don't have proof. I will take a screenshot the next time I get it. Lvl 95, so It is possible to receive some at a much lower level. I'm wondering If it's based on the type of planet that you mine, like possibly an exotic, dyson, or sentient?

Well, it's either Dan has never told anyone about this part of the equation ever(that doesnt make sense, in rl why would keeping one mineral sample get you more rare minerals?), or this is a coincidence, or this is a part of your leveling up if you ranked up fast. The search keeps blocking my search terms so I cant find the post but I remember clearly Dan saying that only rank affects minerals received(If someone knows where this post is please bring it here in a quote. If it is non-existant, please prove this post wrong).
