I have almost 1000 in Cargo space. I can account for only about 425 of this Total space in uninstalled equipment, minerals, and calculateded unused, [ free ], space, since my display indicates that Special Trade items all take 0, [ zero ], space.

Unless I missed something, that only leaves Artifacts taking up about 575 of the available 1000 cargo space. If this is true, and since I always seem to get close to minimum credits for a respective Artifact when I scrap it, and since I have many that I rarely use, like the Calming Amplifier, why can't I see the Cargo Space I am using for each Artifact, since it may be more fruitful to scrap the ones I don't use, even though I get garbage credits when scrapping them ?

I am also curious why I can not see Artifact space listed in Wiki ?

Every artifact takes up one space.

10 contaminant missiles would be 10 spaces.

I currently have 936 spots take up by artifacts. My guess is that all of your excess space is taken up by artifacts.

Thx VERY much. Yes it appears that each Artifact does take one Cargo Space.

Didn't realize that I had sooo many Artifacts stockpiled.

Also appears, as a post benefit, that I am no longer getting close to minimum credits for scrapped Artifacts.

Have a lot of Spy Probes, etc. I can get rid of to make room for equipment exchanges.
