What does the void 'barrier' item do?

Just got the quest darkness falls.... what does the void barrier do and does it take space?

yes it just adds clock to your planet i belive if i not mistaken 110 cloak for 1 space.... could be wrong on that amount but it is a plantery artifact that adds cloak to your planet
