Hello, i have only been playing for a short time and the first 2 planets i colonised are now seeming rather poor choices against new ones i have found by scanning.
Is there any way to swop out planets already colonised or colonise more planets than the normal level cap? I already know about spending galaxy points, is there any other way?

Get someone else to invade these planets and conquer them. All you have to do is find an unsuspecting newbie to invade you- tell the newbie that your planets are really good. (evil chuckle)

you also have 10 galaxy points to start off(hope you didnt use them already) 5 galaxy points will let you give up crap planets, so you can un-colonize 2 planets
otherwise they are stuck with you unless you want to buy more galaxy points or nubs invade em
