Hey all,

I was wondering what happens with the legion aid with the NPC ships. I've been getting some alerts to that effect in my in-game news feed. I'd like to know the specifics of this system.

1. Assuming if I find a NPC that I want help killing, I put out a legion call. Then legion members whack away on the NPC. Then what happens if a legion member kills the NPC while I'm away from the computer? Do I stil get credit and the loot, along with the legion who killed the NPC? Or am I out of luck?

2. How does this effect the limited edition NPC's like the Stryll Deep Tracker? If I'm not the one who kills it, do I lose it forever and not be able to get the loot even though I put in all the work mission-wise?

I'd really like to know since I'm about to unlock my first Stryll battle, and I need to know if I have to solo it to get a guanatreed artifact reward or not.

1) Depending on the battle, yes, you can lose out on things. At the moment, if you are one of the top 3 damage dealers, you get a prize. If you are not, you don't. Doesn't matter who does the killing blow.

2) Stryll Deep Tracker you can't share (I don't remember seeing it when I did it).

I would try to get it down to 50% life and then share it. They go down in a minute flat as far as I have seen. If you are incapable, I'd suggest trying to sell the rights to it to someone, like for a decent planet planet or something. You'd have to give them a specific time and they would probably need a full load of energy. If someone tries to give you credits for something it is usually a rip off. It might be game-changing for you to have millions of extra credits, but it is usually only an hour or two's worth of income to the person doing the purchasing. I would have to encourage lower levels to be greedy if they are selling anything for credits. I'm guessing this phenomena explains why finding a decent mining planet is ten times easier than finding a decent research planet.

I have an assload of mining planets (10 out of 16 owned planets) with decent minerals and planet sizes. I only have like 4 decent research planets. I've offered several times to trade good artifacts (the exp booster and planet defense or trap artifacts) for research planets, but to no avail.
