This is what I have at the moment...
Mining: 1729 Artifact: 2781 (just starting my +8/+10 changeover, so this will probably hit 3K when I'm done) Research: 4776 Planets of note: Dyson - Found Exotics x2 - Found Exotic - Manufactured Gaias x3 Terras x5 Oceans x13 _________________ Razorback Officer, Error 404 |

Well I have still yet to get a exotic at rank 760.
 But I do now have three of them. I bought two and one is my mission made. I am still hoping to find one some time but after playing this game for over a year without scanning one I'm kind of just don't care any more. If they're large, they don't have great resources, and the ones with great resources are small. |

Only exotic I've ever scanned was a Massive 8x Research. That was a long time ago, I want to say in my 50's or 60's. It was occupied by a 20-something. Poor s#!t didn't know what he had till it was gone. Now optimized to 15x giving me 486/hr plus a tiny bit of mining and artifact.

A 15X Mega Rich 'Common' Toxic produces more than an 8X Mega Rich 'Extremely Rare' Exotic. |

so i was bored enough to work it out and with my current research just under 3k (level 182)
1 Advanced Weapons-82 days 2 Advanced Power Systems-272 days 3 Shield Systems-32 days 4 Stealth Systems-110 days 5 Advanced Armor-64 days 6 Defensive Systems-42 days 7 Advanced Sensors-45 days 8 Planetary Construction-101 days 748 days total !!!! this is how long it would take me to finish all research, i know its gonna get higher which is a good thing  _________________   |

Same, i've upgraded all my buildings to level 10
Researching scanners>energy>relays>hull>hull>defence>weapons have 3214 research 2691 artifacts 1600 mining no dyson. no exotic. although i crave for one. or more. _________________ |
