... does someone go from rank 108 to rank 147 in 2 days? I really want in on this little secret. I get disabled by this clown at 108, then a couple of days later he steals one of my planets, so I go for some retaliation and he's now 146 and nigh on impossible for me to even scratch. Can someone clue me in? Maj

It is entirely possible that he used a credit card.

I didn't say it was fair.
It's entirely possible to recharge your energy fully by purchasing galaxy points directly with a credit card. This game needs money to run, and if someone is willing to pay cash for galaxy points, they can.
I'm not condoning people who purchase loads of galaxy points to gain a ton of levels quickly, but it does help Dan further develop the game.
Make sense?

well unlike kingdom of camelot.. this game as far as I know does not have glitches.. and even if you level up fast.. you will not have the technology equip your ship... The level and technology needs to catch up with each other.. even when you level up fast as long as you dont have the necessary research then the level is a lame level.
Unless of course he supports Dan So much that he spends real $$ for research too..
Spending $$ on the game is not that bad since Dan will have more funds...
I personally spent $$$ on the game already.. I enjoy the game therefore I support him with $.
Good job Dan.. Hope you get more fun ideas..

Remember, rank means NOTHING except he has more decks. It is his research that matters, use a positron clouder or something, and see if hes weak in research.

I had been fighting many players many ranks above my level. BUT one thing that rank could mean something is that higher rank = more planets to own = more production.. Two ways I could see: 1. He used credit card or paypal to buy energy refills. 2. He saved up all energy cubes and finally burn them all with nice neural interface+human switch for 20 minutes to rank up so fast..

If you are going to use a Neural Interface it makes sense to save up your energy cubes to burn through them in one go and complete missions with them. Likewise if you have bought Galaxy Points and get a Neural Interface then energy refills is a sensible use of those points. Having said that the number of cubes or refills required to speed through ~40 levels is going to be far more than most people are likely to have available at three refills for each level. As for having a lack of research that is not so much of a problem as such an expansion, 200 decks, would mean that the player could actually get the max number of each module onto the ship (at my current research level I would need more than 200 decks to max out my ship). The player could then keep themselves at this max loading as they level up and research in tandem.
