The Lepus Messenger
One of the Lepus drones we recently salvaged is different from the rest. It proceeded to open communications with us. As you know, the constructs are not sentient, so someone must have programmed it with the message. We need to find out more about this.
Mission Briefing Strange energy readings once again appear from within the Lepus Cluster. Ships are encouraged to investigate the anomaly and salvage any equipment that may be found.
During the Lepus Cluster Event, the following temporary effects apply to the entire Galaxy:
* Quantum Firewall traps cost additional energy to use. * Continuum Beacons provide an additional 1% boost to scanning, but new ones will not arrive in artifact shipments. * The 'Unique Lifeforms' planetary event now provides a 10% bonus to all production rather than just research.
