The Terran Outsiders begin their Era of Harvest: a period of aggressive colonization in contested territory. With their reach spreading faster than ever, it's clear that some new kind of technology is being used...

During the Era of Harvest event in 2015, the following temporary effects applied to the entire Galaxy:

* Planet colonizations will sometimes cause the ' Archotage Power Grid' effect.
* Shield Restorer and Shield Amplifier artifacts will not appear in artifact shipments.
* ' The Archotage' daily mission will unlock after completing Ravyn's Return (Rank 500+)

(2014 info) During this time of the cycle, the Terran Outsiders reach deeper into contested territory to begin their season of illegal colonization. Our border patrols remain quite busy during this time, and we could use your help to bolster the perimeter.

Mission Dialogue

We have held them off before, we can do so again.
Why are they doing this now?

The Humans and original separatist Terran Outsiders formed an agreement long ago called the Treaty of Harvest. It allowed the outsiders the opportunity to claim planets along the neutral border if they remained unoccupied during this time of the cycle.
I take it the treaty is no longer recognized?

Of course not. Their activities now are but a ritualistic echo from when it was in effect.
As you mentioned... they have tried this many times before. Have they been successful?

Marginally... but enough to put significant strain on our resources.
What is the plan?

We're going to repurpose some existing planetary equipment near the border outposts. With some upgrades, it should relieve some of the strain on the defending fleets.

This mission can be repeated once every 20 hours and it does not count towards completed missions credit.
