A situation has affected our trade routes here and... in other places of interest to us. Though we typically do not speak of matters that occur "outside", we feel that this warrants such an exception

Mission Dialog:

Chuhn: I do not mean to disrupt the efficiency of our trades, but I come with additional urgency.
You usually arrive much earlier in the Galactic Cycle... what is going on?

Chuhn: These spacetime incursions are no accident... and they will likely get more intense over time.
What is causing them?

Chuhn: We must be cautious with what we reveal here, but we will accept such risks. Including even having this conversation.
An enemy of yours?

Chuhn: A... species that has been a challenge to our progress. We have been in conflict with them in parts of our history.
Who are they?

Chuhn: One that can traverse spacetime with ease. They manage loops of time, giving them significant advantages as they evolve cyclicly.
The Bahreen??

Chuhn: Our interactions with the Bahreen remain complex. In some timeline intersections, we maintain cataclysmic warring, and in others, long stretches of peace.
And what is happening here... now?

Chuhn: A large influx of energy is being funneled by the Bahreen... into a spacetime target they refer to as Farselle. The magnitude of this redirection is causing time to shift here, disrupting our routes.
Is that what is also causing the crossing of events?

Chuhn: Yes. The merging of such things will become more common in this timeline.
Why are the Bahreen doing this?

Chuhn: We've been studying the energy increases during our visits. We think they might be trying to develop a future countermeasure to something. A reaction to an event from another loop.
They remain at peace with many others in this timeline. Perhaps their motives are in good faith.

Chuhn: This conflict exists between our species only... but I would be remiss not to mention some of the reasons behind these disturbances.
I can understand your frustration.

Chuhn: We have thrived as we do... not just because of our boundless resourcefulness, but primarily due to steady nomadic flow. Incursions such as this make trading in this region difficult.
But not impossible. Something tells me you enjoy the challenge nonetheless.

Chuhn: Change is inevitable, but in our line of business, we prefer to control as many variables as we can. Which is why I have a proposal.
Oh?

Chuhn: A device. An Ansible. One using technology we have rarely shared. We would like to help you build one.
Why?

Chuhn: It will allow us to communicate... even when we leave this Galaxy. It goes without saying that it would be in our mutual benefit to remain in comm range with each other...
I agree.

Chuhn: I will relay the design framework. This Ansible is for you and your ship only. Please be aware that the framework matrix has countermeasures should you decide to share it with others.
