Apparitious, Bane Familiar is an ally that was available in the Limited Time Artifacts Market starting in 2012 during the Halloween Bane (seasonal event) for 90 Galaxy Points. Must be rank 80+ to install.
When this ally is first hired it starts at rank 1 and has a max rank of 100. To rank this ally, you must SUCCESSFULLY invade a planet that has been in your Planet database for LESS THAN 48 HOURS. That includes any planets scanned or shared from your legion. Each time this ally ranks up, this ally will provide a (2%*rank) bonus to all existing stats.
Upkeep for Apparitious begins at 5 million Credits at rank 1 and rises 2% with each rank, so a rank 100 Apparitious will cost 14.9 million in upkeep each day.

NOTE: Due to the fact that the Ally starts at Rank 1 without a 2% bonus, the Ally only reaches 198% bonus at rank 100
Upgrades
Starting during the 2013 Bane_(seasonal_event), using a Apparitious Fearcaster on a rank 100 Apparitious, Bane Familiar would upgrade the Apparitious ally to its next level. This added the Bane Shriek activated ability.
During the 2023 Bane_(seasonal_event), using a Apparitious Howlcaster on a rank 100 Apparitious II, Bane Familiar would upgrade the Apparitious ally to a Bane Aspect, doubling the cost and increasing the effect of the Bane Shriek activated ability.
