TWH does quite a few. We have more than one person with over 50k scans. Virtually everyone does 1-2 scan runs a week. Rng is a fickle Goddess...but hunters like a good chase.

i scan pretty much as my purgers come in, and a mini run of 50 planets or til the first planet worth invading/colonizing comes up on terminal days, but i don't scan til grey. takes too long to do anyways and i don't like clicking 24 times to get 1 planet.

a LOT of recent dysons...kind of suspect some high ranks quit/got booted.....float float float

Last week, Padre Bob scanned and successfully invaded a 32x Artifact (40x something Mining) Dyson, and Occult hit the jackpot with an unoccupied 48x Artifact Dyson. Didn't want to jinx anything by posting that info until both planets were either safely fluxed/invisible or rifted



For those wondering if that 48x Dyson was one of the new 500k planets added to the pool, its ID number is 2715405, so... probably not?

And for the people who won't be able to help but comment on the "shocking," "paltry" 1240.84335375 Artifact it is producting per hour, this screenshot was taken about 30 seconds after he invaded it off of me, so... shaddup

it's random, so even if we have 5 mil planets in the game, and the players have scaned say 40 mil planets (10 mil pr year) during the 4 eyers the game have been running

theire is still a (small) chance that some planets have been scaned 0 times
and others might have been scaned 50+ times

but I agrey, the bedst chance to get a desent unocupied planets these days is to find one that was owned by an inactive player that have been purged

Scans Performed 91792 very discgruntled have have never scanned a Dyson
I see you all here who have recently scanned one and quite frankly pisses me off.

Just found a natural x7/x24/x18 not great but, certainly not going to complain either.

ouch edit: Just for numbers sake im at only 2915 scans or so when I found mine.

just found a 35x arti dyson, it seems the boost to 8.8 million planets has borne many fruits

We have a guy with over 100k scans and no dysons. It's a testament to the random nature of finding them. We've had people with under 5k scans find them (and terrible scan ability). We've had one guy find 5-6. It's truly the heart of gold drive from Hitchhiker's guide.
