Happy 1 year anniversary, Empire of the Sun!
In the 9 months I've been a member and 5 months as an officer, I've enjoyed every moment with this group of men and women. I've learned a lot about GL in my time here, and my ship has grown in strength beyond what I ever imagined. The actively competitive spirit here is so much stronger than any other legion I've been a part of, which just spurs us to grow even faster.
I went through the leaderboards, and tallied the # of EotS ships on each board:
Rank: 11 ships (including 3 of the 14 rank 2200+)
Research: 6 ships (including 5 of the 22 Geniuses)
Battles: 13 ships
Kills: 5 ships (including 1 in the top 10)
Hacks: 8 ships (including 5 of the 16 Elites)
Raids: 8 ships (all Marauders)
Medals: 19 ships
I'm looking forward to the next year and seeing the legion grow even further!

So much has happened in the last year. Went from being stuck at 10 members to having 62 members with 3 people out on trades at any given moment. Instant top 50 in strength thanks to mento hanging with us in the early days and now we are brushing 5 mil strength. No one wanted to let us in their base group then many wanted us to join. Took our base and crammed exo clamps into it until we had the biggest base. 3 bases a day to let's do 9 Maybe the next year will bring us a level 9 base A lot of great players have come and gone from the legion. For those who have never visited its just so hard to explain the fun, you gotta experience it. _________________
