Hey Dan. Our whole legion is really discouraged these past several seasons for the lack of elites and non-existent bosses. It seems everything is harder to find, and we are not a slacking legion. I myself npc'd for a day and a half and found nothing. Can you please not make these things so rare, and add some bosses too? The occasional 3 person elite is enough to drive us to madness, as tons of regular bosses and elites show up, and once in awhile a seasonal elite that only 3 can get rewarded from and 10 people try for it. There are folks who npc a lot and used to come up with several seasonals, but even they are not getting them. The game just isn't fun any more like this. I used to love this game especially during the seasonals, but now I get discouraged and don't even want to play because I can't find anything anyway.

Can you please make some changes to make the game fun again for us? Many thanks for considering this request.

I know how hard the OP NPC's &; how good our whole legion is at hunting during seasonal events.
To hear similar sentiment from so many players is indicative that there is some sort of NPC spawn-rate issue creeping into the game.

THE OP's message is balanced and considered. Worthy of a similar response from the developer IMHO.

that's a bit lower than my 50-odd harvester hall in november, but not too far from it.

i still have: Captured T.O. Harvester VII (Uses Left: 47)

scruuge were always tougher to find, but i still managed: Scruuge Calibration Chamber (Uses Left: 22)

and i just used my last Elios Radiant Attractor last week (using once on my rift every 2 days in conjunction with the VARA ability) but i expect to be able to get a full year's worth this july.

i alerted 4 of the qpedd elites and saw about another dozen alerted by others at Zentzu.

so i don't share the concern about spawn rates.

however, i would always support making adding more NPCs to the pool.

Scruuge Calibration Chamber (Uses Left: 57) I had about 1/2 that left over from last year 2015 and used them like crazy on my planets over the 2015/16 year. so 2016 haul was roughly 20 something, and now I have to use them on planets I want to keep and are worthy of using a precious arti that cannot be removed. For the hours spent during the Christmas season, netting less than 1/2 of my take from years previous didn't make me very enthusiastic about continuing this game.

A.I Emotion Cores-5 this season. Last year I got over 20.

I alerted 3 elites, and our legion saw a LOT more than a dozen in the 2 week event, yet some of our hardest, most dedicated npc'ers didn't get the ship upgrade this year. I found ONE. 2016 Chuhn I sold several 4.0 version.

If you believe a dozen elites for your entire legion in a 2 week event is good, then good for you and your legion.

Our numbers seem to match for the most part, and if you're happy with what you got for the hours you spent getting carpel tunnel and little to show for it, then I'm happy for you. However, my legion and I'm certain there are others out there who are not very happy with the low spawn rates of seasonals that come around once a year.

While I agree with you all, wait until you reach rank 2001 and the lack of NPCs in general begins to show.

Since they only have 3 spots the Qpeed Elites should actually be MORE frequent than the other Elites. Also it seems the % of ship modules on that is 20-25% while it should be at least 33% so that most of them would at least give one module. The planet structure is frankly garbage compared to what other seasonal elites drop.

There is a reason this is always the worst event and I believe this and the garbage drop from the uncommon seasonals all make this a horrible event. The only saving grace is that the ship modules and their upgrades are excellent albeit pricy.

I never had any problem finding Queens or Fab plants as it is. If I found as many Extractors (labeled uncommon yet I find them less often than elites) as I did Queen or Fab, I'd be peachy.

However, I've noticed every legion complain that they're lucky to find half a dozen or more elites during a holiday event. The rates are simply too harsh for NPC that carry so few slots in the first place.

And, here I am again with same complaint. Our spawn rate simply is ridiculous for the hours we spend online hoping for Cosmiren, Elios Luminary and the Phoenix. I've received more heatsinks than anything else. Even Fabs and XRP's seem rare, and it won't be long before I and several others won't be able to see XRP's.

I've spent hours during these events sitting on my can in front of the computer to be disappointed in the spawn rates for much needed arti, as many folks have. I've witnessed the low rates from my mates in legion as well. It's growing more and more frustrating every season.

The Elios spawned well, and I am normally someone who struggles to find the seasonal NPCs. I only found one Cosmiren, however.

The Phoenix were much rarer this year. They need to be more common than this. As others have said Cosmirens were also much harder to find. I got 3 in the last 2 days and another in the extra day so only 3 in 3 weeks is abysmal.

I really enjoyed the Sparkrunners for the medal and even moreso that their extra drops sold not just for CTP but good CTP. We ranks 2200+ need a LOT more sources of CTP. The Blathion is a great start to this so keep those new veteran Elites coming Dan!

I found probably 50 Phoenix. I did only find 8 Cos in 39K npcs killed during the event. That seems unusually low.

I now hate life, and I'm going to crawl back into my cave for a while.
