Hi, I was thinking it may be fun if the galactic trade center would allow us to auction off red/yellow/blue/black/green badages in addition to EM CTP ect. Thoughts?

For a one time Christmas thing yeah fun, but it would have to be insanely costly.

I agree with this. Trading badges would be insanely broken but if it was a Christmas event kind of thing I wouldn't mind as much.

The only way i won't mind this if this is a 1:1 badge exchange shop for all badges EXCEPT silver badges.

this is a bad suggestion I feel, despite the fact it would probably guarentee my credits supply from here to eternity.
you want the yellow badge mods, raid people. you want a maxed bainair and the senary frames? hack people

you want to stay halced up but still get them, you shouldnt have that option

do keep in mind the badages would still have to BE earned by soemone, it doesn't fabericate badages its an addition to the auction just like you can get EM/CTP/XTS9 ect. So people who do not wish to partake can choose not too and earn their badages and not sell any badages it would only be open for people who DO want to buy/sell.

1 yellow, = 2 Red = 5 Blue = 10 silver = 20 to 30 Dark would be a more fair exchange rate
and you can add 1 green = 10 to 20 yellow

but all in all, beeing able to buy badges is just a bad idear

Essentialy Your saying people who dont want to do something should reap the rewards of it without having to do the actual work. Sounds a lot like the arguement being made by lsb like yourself about ssb.

I hardly find that an apt description, any more then say someone going "yes buying a planet from a plant boosting race is reaping the rewards. for no work" I support commerce and trade, they gain value for the exchange, they are willing to exchange something of value for something else of value. You know trade??? You do not have to put anything on the market, you may feel that something is so valuable that tradeing for it is silly, but others may disagree, I want an open trade market is all. Also I am pretty close to SSB, I am only 14 damage over optimised cap for my rank/size.

Red Badges, Blue Badges, Yellow Badges, Green Badges, Silver Badges, Dark Badges and Relic Badges
Picked up from PvP combat, hacking, raiding, invading planets, killing bases, killing NPC and legion missions.

I also don't think that badges should be tradable. Earn 'em yourself, use 'em yourself.
