 Split the Battle Tab

If the Battle Tab was split into NPC and PVP there would be two main benefits.

For the NPC tab you could do away with the annoying scroll bar you get when you exceed 6 slots on the battle tab. This would also facilitate more battle tab slots if you wanted to add them in the future.

For the PVP tab you could have all 10 scanned players available at once. This would do away with some of the bias against alphabetically early player names. I know I kill everyone I can on the first page before going to the second. I say some of the bias as there would still be a tendency for most people to start at the top of the list.

+1. I keep avoiding getting my last two NPC slots because I don't want to have to scroll to get to them. lol

Hate to say this, but no matter how many times this is suggested, or how much support it gets, or how efficient it would be, there is about a 0% chance of it happening. We can't get a few lines of code tweaked for top-spawn NPCs, we're not getting a complete overhaul of the Battle Tab.

this, i'd be perfectly fine with top loading.
the only time when i use my bottom slots are when stuff are "saved" for whatever reason. Having stuff that are "saved" pushed to bottom will make me never need to check them.

He wasn't suggesting, he was saying that if we can't get something as simple as a code tweak for toploading NPC's, we're not going to get a complete overhaul of the tab system.

And my point is that top loading would suffice and therefore the OP would be completely unnecessary

and splitting PvP and NPC combat into 2 tabs, would also make it posible to give us 2 new NPC slots
= 10 NPC and 10 enemy ships on each tab


but chances of us getting it are proberly low.... :(

I think everyone understood your point, and i think we all would like to see this or that idea brought into the game.

However, the overriding point is that it's the still the same idea that was first mentioned around 2 years ago.

The issue of it was much more prevalent 2 years ago than now, due to more people playing the game back then. So with far fewer playing this game than back then, and with far fewer players actually affected by the way it works right now, it just seems extremely unlikely to be implemented.

I was about to post a topic, but thankfully I used the search button. I +1 this as well. We should keep this topic alive. This can't be too difficult of a thing to incorporate into the game. It would eliminate NPC scrolling and would more sense for PVP by having all players on one page.

If all the threads covering this idea were merged together I think this thread would become something crazy like 30 pages long. In every iteration it was always +1'd to the Nth degree.
