Post subject:  New Race : Sintom

The Sintom Race have been around for 10000 years and are known traders and explosion masters , commonly spies , they have 15% Attack and Defence boost to PVP.
They gain 5% Attack And Defence Boost to NCP if they are of the " Spy Profession "

They have a ablity called " Bomb Surprise" if a ship attacks the Sintom's ship it has 25% chance to active , deals 250 Damage to the attacking ship.

Mission Chain ( 6 Missions , Can be started at rank 14 )

Finding the Ship

Hello there [Current Race] , We understand that there is a rare ship within this area , please search it out and defeat it, as it's a race we must learn more about.
You Carry On Searching for the Ship ( 25x10=250 )
You've found the ship! ( Makes a Sintom Spy Ship Appear on battle tab )

Obtaining the Infomation :

Make the Sintom talk , provide as much infomation on it as possible
You Ask The Sintom Questions upon its race ( 50x10=500 )

Analizing the truth :

This is the infomation we've gathered Analize if this is true or not :
The Sintom Race have been around for 10000 years and are known traders and explosion masters , commonly spies , they have 10% boost to credit gain and 15% Attack and Defence boost to PVP.
They gain 5% Attack And Defence Boost if they are of the " Spy Profession "

They have a ablity called " Bomb Surprise" if a ship attacks the Sintom's ship it has 25% chance to active , deals 250 Damage to the attacking ship.

You carry on analizing to see if its true ( 75x10=750 )
You've analized it and it's all true!

Meeting the leader :
We've set up a meeting with the leader of the Sintom to discuss becoming one of there own.รง

You keep discussing becoming a Sintom (100x10=1000)
They accept you as one of there own!

Learning to bomb :
Learn to bomb , and see if you're ready for this race!

You take bombing classes and learn to bomb. (100x25=2500 )

Truce with the Sintom! :
Me, the Sintom leader , truce you're ship with mine!
You truce you're ships and are allowed to become a Sintom at will ( 100x1 )

All missions in the chain are worth 50 EXP

Yeah, they're very overpowered. The bomb ability is kind of cool though, I think something along those lines might be an interesting ability, but other than that, this is not a very practical addition.

How's it OP 15% Attack/Defence to PVP ( Nothing else ) , and 5% boost to NPC if a Spy , and the bomb abitly is unique twist

its a konqul and aerlen type bonuses. they may be nerfed but still..

It has three abilities. That makes it overpowered. You should only give it one, like all the other races. That makes it more balanced.

Or at least make one ability a unique profession rather than a race bonus. Kinda like the Zolazin.

  • 15% Attack and Defence is far too overpowered.
  • Damage while attacked: We already have Omicron Mine Traps, Thetacron Mine Traps, and T-Plasma Gemini Cannons.
  • 5% NPC attack is, again, OP. We've just had a GP item with a cool-down ability that does exactly this.
  • 10% boost to credit gain: No. There are already people out there with 1T+ credits.

Yep, and to be honest... this isn't a lot, this was after going on a scanning run (buy scanners) , colonizing and invading a lot of planets and of course adding 12s to them.

About 200B down the drain in total and if i sell my research along with minerals il get that back in a week, and my MP/RP isnt that impressive

Konqul gets 20% attack bonus to all targets, Aerlen gets 30% def, Drannik gets 40% attack against NPCs only.

Maybe to balance it out it could be changed to 10% attack and 15% def with no extra ability to use, Plus it would have to be at least 8 missions to unlock the race.

The idea needs work but it's not completely nerfed.

PVP is what make it overpowered. Against NPCs, that bonus would probably be okay. Doing massive damage and having attack resistance against NPCs is okay, against players, it is unfair. The bomb thing is balanced, but not with everything else added on. Same thing with the Spy bonus, that is good by itself, not with anything else. And the credit gain would be overpowered with all the other abilities. A race that just provided more credits, or a race that had the bomb bonus would be balanced, but not with all four powers.
