my suggestion is having a mission requiring terraforming devices. aprox 10. to produce one quasi-spacial expander.
this would be a substitute for those people who do not have access to cash to purchase them.

i would suggest a 5:1 ratio... enough that npcing heavily will net you a few, but not a ton. and no one will be buying them to switch over lol

Maybe maybe if its got the invincible chain only. Not even sure if that. That's the only thing you currently can't do.
People spending gp is what keeps this game going. There are and should be benefits.

Have it as a new link in the "Project" chain. that way, people still have to pay ~$230 to unlock it. Also, 300 energy per round, 1.25 XP ratio.

How about this, its like a quasi, but the biggest you can make planets are Very large. perhaps it can use complex tech parts for the mission, 25 completions repeatable mission. Not bad wouldn't you agree? It's not really OP, you would still need to buy the quasi's if you want your planets Very massive.
EDIT 1; The thing is it's NOT a quasi so you can't use it on the missions like dyson transformer and rift mission's. It's kinda like the Temporal flux orb to the planet flux, where you gotta wait 1 week, where the planet has not been attacked in order to use it. In this case you cant exceed Very large.

This here is a good idea. I like this. Know what I would QSE's on? VL or M planets.

that is a great idea, but i was going for something different.
everyone knows about the mission exotic. takes 10 terraforming devices to finish. u can either buy them( easy way) or npc ( hard way) now for the dyson and rift its different. quasis are a very rare drop. adding the mission that i suggested would even things out in the game.
it takes determination to npc every single day. collect the terraforming devices get your mission planets.
im just saying everyone should have a chance at getting their mission planets. someway.even if it takes a long time.
Dan would still be making his money regardless, since many people wouldn't be committed to spending so much time trying to acquire these artifacts.
