I think that it would be a good idea if dan and his team could make a GL app for the iphone, because i think that many people would like this, as the experience on certain devices isn't perfect, and i realise that dan has improved it, it would be more effective to make an app, it could cost £0.69/$0.99 (i think that is the normal transfer rate) thoughts??

An app would be great, but why charge for it? And also make it for blackberry, android, Windows mobile...

Apparently a small group of phones do not work with gl at all. For these people it could be worth it. Also could possibly improve the button setup for all mobile users. I personally though am fine with playing gl on my phone. Only drawback is there more lag abs comm can be troublesome occasionally.

agreed, Dan has made improvements to playing on mobile devices but it could still use some work.

+1 to the GL app. Would be great for people like me that work 12 hour shifts and come home to resources being full. With the app i could check it on breaks and collect resources among other things. Would love to see this put in motion.

yes agreed a small price that most people can afford like 1 or 2 dollars.

You just need to buy more storage buildings at 16GP each.

I suggest that Dan start with these simple features which will be easier than reformatting the whole game as an app, and later on add more features, He should put these basic tasks in the app for now, because it would be helpful, and we would not have to wait as long

Making an app is entirely different from developing a web-game. Sure, you could make them compatible, but who knows if Dan knows how to make an app? The languages are completely different.

I'd like to see an app, really. Means I could steal your planets from anywhere...

dont have the quote, but a few months back i asked dan what he had in the pipeline/works, and he said a tablet friendly game/version, could be coming... he wasnt specific as to whether it was GL or another game entirely.

Good idea but remove the charge. It may be cheap but If it was free then some people who had never played gl might try it on their phones, and then they can pay dan more money when they get hooked
