I think it would be a pretty cool idea if the bases had a little more functionality, like scanning or cloaking. For example, base could scan for random anomoly's like meteors or asteroids which would give a boost to some part production, or they could work somewhat like the CT lab only for base mods. They could also help to scan for certain extremly rare NPC's or new NPC bases, effectivly having its own NPC battle tab. Base cloaking, on the other hand would help protect a base from detection by other legions [ not sure if this is even feasable or fair as level 4+ bases could be near impossible to detect ], but could also have a base form of hacking to support the NPC aspect of the base scanning modules. Just random thoughts let me know if i'm on to something, cause I think that these would be really cool, but i'm sure that it would take a while. |
