So it wouldn't fit on our ships, huh? What about those of us with so many decks we shadow stars?

How about you stop squabbling about the name, and focus more on the concept. It's up to Dan to fine tune. This squabbling is detracting from an excellent idea.

Uhh it's not about how many decks u got it's about how big that thing is, besides a stiletto as i explained is launched from the ground not from a ship, it's a ICBM, my idea is a AAM, huge difference, u can't use an ICBM in space, this "stiletto" could be used as a planet building instead, where it would be used as it's supposed to,"being launched from the ground". How many times do i need to explain the difference between the 2, as i said i like the idea just not the name coz ICBM's aren't launched from a space ship making them an AAM, which they aren't. An AAM is what i have shown u and will show it again, and is what SHOULD be used.

To be quite honest, I think, if, in real life, we made a space-borne fighter, with missiles, they would not be called AAMs, but come under a new category. The name is unimportant. As far as we know, Dan might just call it a Trellith Torpedo Launcher.

My idea:

Vette wrote:
Phoenix Stiletto System
Size: 30
Limit: 2 per ship
Effect: +250 Attack
Effect: Increases attack power by 5% when attacking
Effect: 2% Chance on hit to reduce enemy defense by 6-12% for 1 minute
Additional: If attacking a player that has performed an offensive action against you in the past 24 hours, this attack power increase doubles (10%) and the enemy's Gemini Cannons will be nullified during the attack
Cost: 200 Red Badges -OR- 500 Dark Badges (these are two options, you can do 200 reds or 500 darks, which will make this module a little bit more accessible to both pvp'ers as well as npc'ers)
Requirement: Minimum Rank of 150

This would give offensive PvPers incentive to keep killing, it would also give incentive to fight back against a player who has attacked you recently since you get a bigger bonus.

The 6-12% on defense debuff is to counter the Trinity and is also a reference to the number of Phoenix missiles in a cluster on a fighter jet (1-2% for each of the six missiles, just felt it was a nice homage)

I Like the Idea some fine tuning but the basic principal gets a +1 from me

Bump!! a good idea that needs to come back up, and so Dan can see it.

Make it 3 per ship, like how the aegis capacitor/velox thruster have an equip limit of 3, and make it 300 attack instead.
