200 cloak for 1 space ? that is a decent cloak building. would i invade a planet only for KSGs ? hell no. but they will make a planet more attractive to invade if there are other worthy artis to strip or if the base planet production warrants a looksee.

out of the unlimited cloak artis, they are only beaten by:
siltion t-plasma vesicle
dark null beacon
resonance inhibitor
b'elna's altar

they are tied by:
adumbrate station
isolation bureau (solo.scanned)
crimson rift aperture (1 rift or less)
dormant tenebris relic (upgraded)
siladon suppressor

and they are better than these at 150 cloak per space, some of which require plenty of badges or a race change:
dark anti-beacon
litheor deep-phase probe
nexus command center
quantum accelerator (100%)
silthion gas vesicle

your looking at it the wrong way

They are beaten by

Because all that beaten list either give more cloak or give artifact in addition making them not burnt space for cloak but space used to have higher production on the planet your cloaking.

i don't give squat about production on storage planets ... so the KSGs go there and the cloak artis with production go on production planets .. kapeesh ?

i like to get prod on storage worlds...why waste a slot with only hiding storage..i get my res to 15-17x and milk them for sevreral hundred res to go with hiding my stoarge...seems prudent imho

That does seem prudent lol ive been slowly workin my storage planets with optimizers
I wanted to get rid of lowest productions first tho. My lowest res planet is a 41 way tie at megarich lol

yeah bro...exactly... i gave away all but about 6 res planets...they are 23x or so and just look pretty...but my 20 or so storage are colossal plasmas, oft with ss...and i farm res for contracts from them...over time i can tribute gift the arti also and get a little action there as well...

+1 to the main idea in this thread (reduced xp or increased length of supply conduit effect) and to this add-on idea too. Had no idea people would steal a planet for those things and used them exclusively as some extra cloak on plasma storage planets in the past. Due to that, I have a few hanging around my cargo already. With some additional help from Senator's list, it appears we could make planets extra attractive by planting them on planets that have some adumbrate stations too. Now what to put them on! I, for one, have a few planets I'd like to see move on without having to plunk 5 gp down to get rid of them....

Senator's list

if you see that i have one of your less desirable planets on scan, plunk a bunch of the artis on that list onto the planet.

then post a comm on my ship via the kills leaderboard to let me know, and i will gladly take the planet and artis off of your hands.

as for polaron emitters, they aint extractable.

I have only done this mission 53 times. (Only did the last 3 completions when I was legionless and needed the best XP return before ranking up) and I only got 4 conduits out of those 53 so that mission is entirely useless to me. If I want Klorvis cloakers I will just extract them.

If it was half or even much less the XP ratio I might do it if only for a chance at a conduit or to get CTP from the module (We need a LOT more sources of CTP; especially past rank 900 where the only semi-decent source of CTP are parsers)

Forcevoiders sell for 19-38 and Hypervoiders only 5-10 CTP.

This is a HUGE handicap to high ranks as far as CTP goes. Better modules sell for less ? More advanced technology is worth less ? Since when ?????

RT's only give 1 CTP more than half the time. I consider that negligible unless you are willing to enter GL's dead zones of 2000 (no more DCN) and 2200 (no more T.O. ships)

If they gave more CTP at higher ranks we could be talking but at 1 or 2 per it is a drop in the ocean.
